Lets run with this for a moment. Without a dyno, we have no definite numbers. Lets assume at 12psi we are at 500 crank hp (going with the 18% loss factor giving us 410rwhp). ATI (and most supercharger claims) go with a 7% increase per pound of boost. So, from that, 16psi "should" yield 655 crank hp. You're right, that's quite a bit less than the 725 crank hp need to plant 600rwhp. But, if my dyno numbers show 400+rwhp as I expect, the cost to be at the 655 crank hp mark would be less than $15,000 total over the cost of my NA. If you ask me, HP per $$, that's not too bad!
